VAT returns

We can offer you a fixed fee service for your VAT returns. Whether you are a sole trader, director of a limited company, freelancer or self-employed and you are registered for VAT, we can help you with your quarterly VAT returns.

  • VAT Registration,
  • Advise on VAT rates for specific expenditure,
  • Prepare and submit your VAT return with HMRC.

 

Payroll

Holden James can assist you in administering your payroll each month for every employee of the business. We will ensure that your employees have the right tax code as well as:

  • Creating Payslips on a monthly basis calculating salary and detailing national insurance, PAYE and another other deductions,
  • Submitting the total employee tax to HMRC on a monthly basis on your behalf,
  • Assisting you with sitting up a direct debit to ensure these payments are never missed.

 

 

Construction Industry Scheme

The Construction Industry Scheme ( CIS)  is a specific set of rules for the tax and national insurance for self-employed workers in the construction industry.

Completing Your CIS Returns

As part of the CIS you need to file monthly returns with HMRC to inform them of the payments that you are making to subcontractors as part of the scheme.

Holden James will:

  • CIS Register you and your subcontractor,
  • Complete your CIS Returns each month,
  • Submit the return to HMRC on your behalf,
  • Advise you of the tax payment and assist you with settling this,
  • Email Invoice detailing CIS deduction and pay to your subcontractor.
